BANTWAL: Isha Anvi, a Class 9 student of Sharada Vidyalaya, Mangaluru, has secured the second place in the Under-17 girls category at the State-level table tennis tournament.
The tournament was organised as part of the Vidya Bharati Prantiya Krida Koota 2026-27 at Ramamurthy Nagar, Bengaluru.
Isha, a resident of Kallige in Bantwal taluk, is the daughter of Shubha Banjan, former director of Kumbara Gudi Industrial Cooperative Society, and Dr. Anand Banjan, engineer and writer from Mangaluru.
She had earlier secured first place at the district-level tournament in 2023-24 and had represented the district at the State-level meet held in Bidar.
The management and staff of Sharada Vidyalaya have congratulated her on the achievement.
