MANGALURU, Sept 7: Chandrahas Shetty (76), a retired officer of Vijaya Bank and resident of Byrodi, Salettur, Puttur, passed away in Udupi on Saturday after suffering a cardiac arrest while attending a private function.
He had served Vijaya Bank for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife Shobha Chandrahas Shetty, son Tejas Shetty, daughter-in-law Sushmitha Shetty and a host of relatives. He was the brother-in-law of Retd. Col. Agari Jagajeevan Bhandari and former RBI Director Dr. Agari Naveen Bhandary.
The last rites were held at Kadri in Mangaluru yesterday (Sunday).
