Mangalore, 20th August 2026: A Career Guidance Programme was organized at St. Rita English Medium School, Casia Jeppu to create awareness among students about career opportunities and professional courses.
The programme began with a Welcome Address by Headmistress Mrs. Matilda D’Costa. She welcomed the gathering and emphasized the importance of career planning at the school level.
The resource person for the session was CA Vinayak Pai K, Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, and Proprietor of M/s K V Pai & Co, Mangalore.
Addressing the students, CA Vinayak Pai K, who has 4 years of experience in Company Audits and Tax Consultancy, shared his journey of clearing all levels of the CA course in the first attempt and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at the age of 22. He also informed students about his recent qualification as a Company Secretary in February 2026.
Speaking on behalf of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India [ICAI], he guided students on career options after 10th and 12th, with special focus on professional course that is CA. He explained the scope, eligibility, job opportunities and skills required to succeed in this field.
Apart from professional practice, CA Vinayak Pai K also serves as a Guest Lecturer at various institutions, teaching Taxation, Law and Audit to CA Intermediate students, and regularly conducts career counselling sessions for High school students.

Teachers and students appreciated the valuable insights and motivation provided during the session.
