Deralakatte: Independence Day was celebrated with nationalistic fervor & spirit at Mangalore Group of Institutions on August 15.
Hon’ble Chief guest – Dr Rohan S Monis – Chief Administrative Officer, Kanachur Hospital and Research Centre, hoisted the National flag. Delivering his address on the 80th Independence Day to the Gen Z healthcare students, he briefly stressed about “how British monarchy beat us down for over 200 years and with resilience and persistence over the last 80 years Bharat is a No.# 3 global power. Reigniting the freedom fighter slogans into their minds – because our freedom has been paid for and prayed for. Dr Monis stressed that Bharat scores the best in ‘Youth Power’ and encouraged them to lead with the Upper Brain tactfully with competence, intelligence & humility and with these traits they can radically transform whatever moment you are in – thereby leaving a LEGACY!
