From the sacred soil of Mulki, the temple town of Coastal Karnataka, rises a voice that sounds like a prayer. He is Ravindra Prabhu – revered by millions as ‘Gana Samrat’ and the ‘Golden Voice of Karavali’. A true Saraswati Putra, whose voice is not just heard, but felt in the soul.
In an age of auto-tune and remixes, his voice remains pure, divine and eternal – a gift directly from Maa Saraswati.
A Divine Offering at MP MLA’S NEWS Souharda Sangama
On June 24, 2025, at Mangalore Town Hall, history was created. At the 13th Souharda Sangama of MP MLA’S NEWS, Gana Samrat Ravindra Prabhu and his legendary troupe ‘Raag Rang’ presented a 3-hour-long musical yajna.
Without asking for a single rupee, with only Bhakti and love for Kannada, he sang. Sponsored by the Department of Kannada and Culture, his performance was a Sangeeta Seva. Over 1 Lakh devotees of music witnessed it Live on Namma Kudla Channel, Facebook & Instagram and showered blessings.
That is his greatness – Music is his Dharma, not business.
From a Home Without Radio to 10,000 Divine Stages
His journey is a Hindu Sanatana inspiration. In his childhood, his home did not even have a radio. He would stand outside his neighbour’s house, listen to devotional songs, memorize them, and sing for Lord Krishna.
No big Gurukula. No foreign training. Only Saraswati Sadhana and Guru Krupa. Today, the same boy has completed 40 years and 10,000+ stages – from village temples to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Kuwait, Muscat, Doha.
Voice of Bharat – Soul of Sanatana Dharma.

He is a true Sanatani Singer:

He founded ‘Raag Rang’ in Mangaluru two decades ago, which is today the most disciplined, punctual and pious musical troupe of Karavali. Where Ravindra Prabhu sings, there is Shuddi, Shraddha and Saraswati.
