Moodubidire: Alva’s Pragati 2026, the 16th edition of the mega
placement drive organised by Alva’s Education Foundation,
concluded on a highly successful note, reaffirming its position as the
largest employment initiatives in the India. The two-day event
witnessed the participation of 332 companies and attracted 15,539
candidates from diverse educational and professional backgrounds.
The recruitment drive resulted in 2,416 spot offers and 6183
shortlists, creating significant employment opportunities across
multiple sectors.
The results of 301 participating companies have already been
published on the official website (www.alvaspragati.com).
Candidates who attended interviews can verify their selection or
shortlisting status through the portal. The results of the remaining
companies and candidates will be announced as and when they are
received from the recruiters.The recruitment details of SSLC, PUC,
and ITI candidates who registered on the spot during the Job Fair are
being communicated directly to them by the Alva’s team through
phone calls and SMS.
Recruiters who participated in the event appreciated the unique
platform created by Alva’s Pragati, which brought together candidates
from different academic disciplines, skill sets and geographical
regions under one roof, enabling organisations to identify suitable
talent efficiently and effectively.


Strong performance across Sectors
The manufacturing sector emerged as one of the major contributors
to employment generation, with 75 companies participating and
producing 924 shortlists and 523 selections. Tata Electronics
Systems led the sector by selecting 216 candidates, the majority of
whom were women. HL Mando recruited 99 engineering graduates
from EEE, ECE and Mechanical disciplines for positions in Chennai
with an annual package of ₹3.4 lakh. Toyota Kirloskar Motor
shortlisted a Chartered Accountant candidate with a package of ₹11
lakh per annum, while Exicom Tele-Systems Ltd. selected 30 women
candidates with an annual package of ₹3 lakh.
The IT and IT-enabled Services (IT/ITeS) sector continued to offer
promising opportunities, recording 1,301 shortlists and 96 spot
selections across 34 participating companies. Woodrock Infotech
extended work-from-home opportunities to 17 shortlisted candidates.
Protalk Solutions selected 39 candidates for Chennai-based positions,
while Elogixa offered an international onsite opportunity in Congo,
Africa, to one candidate.
The Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector
generated substantial opportunities with 913 candidates shortlisted
and 211 candidates selected on the spot. EXL Services, a leading
multinational company, recruited 38 candidates for roles in Human
Resources, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
In the pharmaceutical sector, companies including Eurofins, R L
Fine Chem, Solara Active Pharma Sciences, Medorganics India,
SAMI Nutraceuticals, Vasudha Life Science, Biocon and Group
Pharmaceuticals collectively shortlisted 159 candidates and selected
40 candidates.
The healthcare sector also witnessed encouraging recruitment
activity, with Bethany Hospital, Mumbai, selecting 103 candidates.
Scenic Summit Resort recruited graduates from naturopathy
programmes for Wellness Therapist positions, reflecting the diversity
of opportunities available through the placement drive.
International and Inclusive Employment Opportunities
Alva’s Pragati 2026 also facilitated international employment
prospects. GBMT Structural Steel Manufacturing Industries selected
nine ITI, Diploma and Degree holders for opportunities in the UAE
with an annual package of ₹6 lakh. Expertise contracting shortlisted
117 candidates and made 13 spot selections for projects in the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Adani Mundra, Gujarat.
Demonstrating its commitment to inclusive employment, Grow PWD
selected two persons with disabilities (PwD). Codeyoung offered
attractive packages of ₹8.36 lakh per annum to six selected
candidates. LuLu International Shopping Malls Pvt. Ltd. shortlisted
45 candidates, with four receiving final offers for positions in
Bengaluru.

The wide participation of organisations from manufacturing, IT/ITeS,
BFSI, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, hospitality, retail and allied sectors
highlights the robust employment ecosystem fostered through Alva’s
Pragati 2026.
Follow-Up Measures
To ensure maximum placement outcomes, sector coordinators are
actively engaging with recruiters and monitoring the subsequent
stages of the recruitment process. Alva’s Education Foundation also
plans to establishdistrict &taluk-level coordination units to remain
connected with candidates from different regions, understand their
employment requirements and facilitate suitable opportunities.
The comprehensive candidate database generated through Alva’s
Pragati 2026 will continue to be utilised throughout the year to
connect eligible candidates with both niche and large-scale
recruitment opportunities offered by industry partners.
